Industrial Parts Cleaning in combination with Heat Recovery by using ZIPPEL’S CH/ZUT/ZRK-Components
In the field of industrial parts cleaning components (for example before they are assembled, hardened or electro-plated) are cleaned with aqueous fluids (either with water from the domestic plant or DI-water mixed with the detergent) in order to obtain the required cleanliness results by intermediate- or final cleaning processes.
ZIPPEL cleaning systems are completed with CH- / ZUT- / ZRK-components, which contribute to optimal energy saving effects by means of heat recovery and are operated without emitting exhaust vapors or heat to the surroundings. These units can be used flexibly together with our single-/multiple chamber systems, our suspension conveyors and our throughfeed- and immersion cleaning machines.
The product development aimed at the achievement of the most demanding cleanliness results and maximal energy saving effects, e. g. for the heating of tanks filled with fluids (detergents or DI-water for rinsings).In order to activate the effect of the detergent, the fluids in the tanks are warmed, e. g. by means of electric heating or by alternative energy sources such as heating coils via the heat exchanger. We usually have cleaning temperatures between 60 – 65 °C. Even a fluid tank with a volume of approx. 300 liters (which is used for smaller cleaning systems) requires at least 27 kW (3 immersion heaters with 9 kW each).
The originated concentrate is led back into the fluid tank by means of a vapor suction. The parts can be dried by specific heat (if necessary, supported by heat or a blow process).
Example I: Chamber Cleaning System equipped with a Vapor Suction
Our current exhibit at the trade fair 2012, with which we won the Bavarian State Award 2012, needs 6.2 kW (2.2 kW are required for the pump for the cleaning of the parts) The remaining 4 kW (of which 0.8 kW have to be considered for the additionally integrated heat exchanger) are used for the suction of the vapors. Another 0,8 kW are needed for the heat exchanger in the vapor suction system and approximately 3.5 kW are directed via the heating coils. The fluid in the lye tanks heated and the temperature is constantly kept at 50 – 55° C Depending on the chamber size the vapor suction is adjusted accordingly (dimensions, power)and the heat exchanger and the heating coils also have to be considered.
Example II: Throughfeed Cleaning System ZD-3.500-RAST with CH-/ZUT unit and heat exchanger
A tank with appr. 600 l volume can be held permanently to
60° C by heat exchanger of CH-/ZUT unit and heating coil.
This equates to a continuous heat power by heat exchanger
of 7 kW.
